City of Omaha to Host Parade for Terence Crawford

September 18, 2025

The City of Omaha will host a parade for Terence Crawford to celebrate his historic victory over Canelo Alvarez. The parade will take place downtown on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 10 a.m. and will stretch from 19th & Farnam to 10th & Harney. The event will culminate with a ceremony at Heartland of America Park.

The parade follows the same route as the victory parade held after Crawford’s historic 2023 win over Errol Spence. In that fight, Crawford became the first male to become undisputed champion in two weight classes in the four-belt era.

In a release from his team, Crawford will be joined in the festivities by “several special guests and city and state officials.” Thousands of Nebraskans showed up along the parade route in 2023, and they are encouraged to do the same for this year’s event.
