An unnamed sushi bar is planned for North Downtown. A building at 906 North 16th Street, just west of the Tip Top Apartments, was recently renovated for two restaurant spaces. Elie’s Chinchorro, a Caribbean restaurant, moved into the building as the first tenant this past summer. Elie’s was previously located in the former Lo Sole Mio event space in the Hanscom Park neighborhood. Recently, a building permit was filed for interior finishes and installation of kitchen equipment for a sushi bar in Suite B. – Isaiah Ang
