The Dairy Queen store at 404 North 114 Street is receiving a major refresh. A building permit was filed for removing the second floor/roof, essentially transforming the building from the iconic barn-style to a more conventional single-story, fast-food restaurant. In addition to the structural change, the façade will be updated along with mechanical, electrical and plumbing. – Isaiah Ang
