David Levy Talks Omaha’s Big Projects on Grow Omaha

David Levy of Baird Holm LLP joins the June 20, 2026 Grow Omaha show to discuss several of Omaha’s biggest development projects. Levy starts with the City of Omaha’s acquisition of Home Plate in north downtown and explains how the property will support Union Omaha’s future professional soccer stadium, mixed-use development, a city CSO facility and Union Pacific train display easements during the College World Series. He also discusses how the soccer stadium district can connect Millwork Commons, Future Forward, north downtown and North Omaha through improved pedestrian access and the 10th/11th Street connector. In the second half of the interview, Levy turns to Crossroads, where GameScape by Cinemark, underground parking, residential development, restaurants, retail, a central green and future phases are beginning to take shape. The conversation also looks toward 2028, when several major Omaha projects are expected to come online.
