Council Bluffs Moves Forward with Manawa-Area Housing

The Council Bluffs City Council chose R. Perry Construction of Sioux City for the East Manawa Phase 1 housing project, which includes 40 units in 10 four-unit buildings. The city plans to build more than 900 residential units on 93 acres northeast of Lake Manawa. Phase 1 is partially funded by a $6.8 million grant from the Iowa Economic Development Authority and will be reserved for low-to-moderate-income households.
