First Watch will open another Omaha location October 14th at 248 North 144th Street in Heartwood Preserve, the 500-acre, mixed-use development west of Boys Town. The breakfast-and-lunch restaurant will be in a new retail strip that currently has a Little King restaurant on the opposite end. Based in Bradenton, Fla., First Watch has six existing existing Nebraska locations, all of them in the Omaha area….

Hawaiian Bros Island Grill has signed a lease to move into the former Boston Market building at 704 North 114th Street in Miracle Hills. Perkins-Critser Construction will start working on the renovations soon. Hawaiian Bros’ first Nebraska location is near Interstate 80 & Highway 370 in Gretna. Cinnaholic Gourmet Cinnamon Rolls will open its first Nebraska location September 20th at 11922 Standing Stone Drive in Gretna….

Good Lookin’, the breakfast-and-lunch café at 4919 Underwood Avenue in Dundee, plans to open a second location in the former Austin’s Steaks and Saloon space at 168th & West Center Road. The restaurant’s ownership is not yet ready to announce an opening date for the west Omaha location.

Omaha’s Benson district will soon welcome SET The Bar, a sports bar dedicated to women’s sports, at 6121 Maple Street. Scheduled to open in early December, it will be Nebraska’s first women’s sports bar and the seventh in the United States. The Vault Craft Cocktails, a new speakeasy-themed bar, will open soon inside The Collective and under Regency Landing at 10730 Pacific Street, Suite 020. Hours and opening date have yet to be announced. The bar features original wood detailing in tribute to the former Omaha National Bank.

A new rooftop bar is coming soon to Benson. The Tenant will open the first week of August at 6201 Maple Street, across from The Waiting Room. The Asian-inspired smokehouse and bar will also cater, host private parties and offer a signature frozen drink program at its Rooftop Rosé Garden.
