Ribbon Cutting for Nebraska Resource Center at Offutt AFB

In the lead-up to Veterans Day, the Greater Omaha Chamber participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Nebraska Resource Center at Offutt Air Force Base. This center, the first of its kind in the nation, offers, “military, veteran, and dependent support services in a public-facing storefront within a base exchange.” Additionally, the center will be a resource for newly arrived service members and their families. Assistance of this kind includes everything from spousal employment and childcare to Omaha amenities. One of the Greater Omaha Chamber’s priorities is to continually enhance one of the best military installations in the country – as well as ensuring the men and women who serve our country are cared for when their missions are completed.
