Foundations Development plans to build affordable housing in Midtown. The Planning Board this week approved rezoning of a 14,300 sq. ft. site at 1039 Park Avenue on the northeast corner of Park Avenue & Pacific Street to accommodate the project. Additionally, the board approved the developer’s $650,000 Tax Increment Financing request to help finance to $10 million project. Plans call for a 4-story building with 50 apartment units and integrated parking in the basement. The apartment units will be reserved for resident 55 and older. Construction will begin this fall and is projected to be completed by Spring 2028. – Isaiah Ang
