Most of the exterior glass has been installed on Mutual of Omaha’s future headquarters tower at 14th & Farnam Street. The 677-foot building remains on track for completion late this year. The $600 million, 800,000 sq. ft. skyscraper officially has 44 floors but it’s the equivalent of a 47-story tower because it has a 2-story crown and the 44th floor is double height. It is the tallest building in Nebraska and several surrounding states. It is believed to be the tallest office-only building currently under construction in the United States.
