Marlin Petermann Recreation Area

Construction has started in northwest Omaha on the 106-acre Marlin Petermann Recreation Area also known as Damsite WP1. The site is northwest of 180th & West Maple Road and west of Elkhorn North High School. The Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District is responsible for the rec area, which will include a 20-acre lake, a 2-mile bike trail loop and both traditional and accessible canoe/launching facilities. The lake will be stocked with game fish.
