In this aerial view of Eppley Airfield, you can see more than $1 billion in ongoing construction, including the overhead canopy and drop-off lanes as well as the major expansion/renovation of the terminal. The canopy and front drive project will be done next year. The terminal will take a few years before it’s 100 percent completed. The terminal expansion will add more gates, consolidate the current terminals into one long corridor, create a centralized TSA security screening area, add several new restaurants/retailers and create an international arrivals facility.
