Nicole Buntgen

Nicole Buntgen is a media professional who has been actively involved in Omaha since she moved in early 2021. She combines her love for food and people with her writing expertise to craft stories, articles, and “bite-sized” snippets about the metro’s growth.

In addition to her Grow Omaha contributions, she is the Marketing and Brand Manager for TOAST REAL ESTATE. Nicole is the author of her memoir, Onward and Upward, and is a proud advocate for adoption and mental health awareness. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has worked in various media environments: traditional, new, earned, shared – you name it, she’s worked it.
