Spencer Management plans to renovate a commercial building on the northeast corner of 39th & Ames Avenue. Built in 1962, the 3,652 sq. ft. building had been used as a storage facility. Spencer management plans to use a portion of the building for an auto and equipment service shop. The site will also provide commercial space for emerging businesses to lease. The developer is seeking a $90,000 TIF loan to help fund the $845,000 project. Construction will begin this summer and be complete by summer 2026. – Isaiah Ang
