The City of Omaha held a groundbreaking program yesterday, officially kicking off construction of new baseball and softball fields in Gallagher Park at 2936 North 52nd Street, next to Benson High School. The $5 million project is possible because of fundraising efforts by the Benson High School Foundation as well as class-of-1958 alumni Djel Ann Brown and the late Paul Brown.
