Batter Up: The NCAA Men’s College World Series Celebrates 75 Years in Omaha

June 11, 2025

The NCAA Men’s College World Series is back at Charles Schwab Field Omaha, June 13 through 22 (or 23, depending on play). This year marks 75 years of baseball, big moments and Omaha pride: The city has hosted since 1950.

The fun starts early with a free party at The RiverFront on June 12. Come out for live music, fireworks and family fun before the games begin.

Then it’s time to cheer on the top eight teams in college baseball as they compete for the title. The 2025 lineup brings a fresh roster compared to 2024, including five past champions – LSU, Arizona, Oregon State, UCLA and Coastal Carolina. Arkansas, Louisville and Murray State are chasing their first-ever championship, with Murray State making its Omaha debut. Don’t miss Fan Fest, located in Lot C and the northeast corner of Lot B, featuring games, giveaways and batting cages.

Omaha attractions are stepping up to the plate with special events for baseball fans. Kiewit Luminarium is teaming up with NASA to offer space-themed family-friendly exhibits from Thursday, June 12 through Sunday, June 15. Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium will host Late Night at the Zoo: Family Edition with a baseball theme on Friday, June 20.

Omaha’s downtown bars and restaurants will also be buzzing with fans. Join the fun! Get complete event details and the Fan Fest schedule at cwsomaha.com.
