City of Omaha building permits indicate that two hair-and-beauty retailers are planning to open for business in the near future. Empire Hair & Beauty is renovating a 13,232 sq. ft. building 90th & Blondo Street that was originally a CVS Pharmacy. Another hair-and-beauty shop is preparing to take over the 8,084 sq. ft., former Family Dollar store on the southwest corner of 30th & Newport Avenue.
