Paul and Jessica Urban, owners of Block 16 in downtown Omaha, are purchasing the former Pink Poodle restaurant building in Crescent, Iowa. The legendary steakhouse closed last September. The sellers are father-and-son team Bill and Kevin Novak, who bought the building last year and started exterior renovations. The Urbans plan to start with weekend prime rib nights, a throwback to the Pink Poodle, featuring a five-course dinner that will require reservations. The yet-to-be-named restaurant will eventually add a full daily menu. The opening date is to be determined.
