The Omaha Streetcar project continues to make both visible and behind-the-scenes progress. Mainline track installation started at the end of April, and there are already several segments in place. Behind the scenes, the streetcar authority is negotiating with Herzog Transit Services, Inc. to be the operations and maintenance contractor. The board anticipates reviewing and approving the contract at its June meeting. – Isaiah Ang
