The North Omaha Visitor Center, a nonprofit whose mission is to celebrate North Omaha’s history, culture and economic growth, officially opened its location at the intersection of 24th & Burdette Streets last Friday. The space features a coffee shop, gift shop and presentation gallery. It will host events as well as provide tours of North Omaha. – Mark Champion
