The Omaha Housing Authority is planning major renovations to Pine Tower Apartments at 1500 Pine Street. Built in 1965, the 13-story apartment building has 144 units. According to a building permit, studio units will be converted to 1-bedroom apartments. Additionally, kitchens, bathrooms, finishes and common areas will be updated. Some mechanical, electrical and plumbing upgrades are planned. The project will cost $8.6 million. – Isaiah Ang
