Metropolitan Community College broke ground this week on its future Sarpy County Campus southeast of 144th & Highway 370. The new location will be the college’s fourth full-service campus, serving Nebraska’s fastest-growing county. The Sarpy Campus, which will be the college’s first permanent campus since 1980, is situated within a 15-minute drive of seven high schools and less than a mile from Interstate 80. Surrounded by significant business and industry, the 144-acre campus will be a mixed-use development, blending academic spaces with retail, dining, housing and greenspace. – Metropolitan Community College
