Omaha tourism is a major contributor to the local economy. In 2022, 13.5 million tourists visited Omaha, a 6 percent increase over 2021, according to Visit Omaha, the city’s convention and visitors bureau. Of those tourists, 7.3 million were day visitors, while 6.2 million spent at least one night.

Tourists in Omaha spent approximately $1.46 billion, a 16 percent increase from 2021. Of that total, overnight visitors spent $936 million. Visitor spending in Omaha sustains 15,223 jobs. One in 30 Omaha jobs are supported by visitor spending.
