Nebraska Medicine Farnam Health Center

The University of Nebraska Medical Center and Nebraska Medicine Midtown Campus continues to grow and expand. Last year, the City of Omaha vacated Harney Street from 41st Street to the connection at Farnam Street. During that time, it was known that Nebraska Medicine planed to develop a parcel of land consisting of a surface parking lot on the southeast corner of 42nd & Farnam Street. According to a building permit, the project will consist of a 4-story, medical office building with a pedestrian walkway to the parking garage to the south. The existing parking garage will have a new elevator lobby to connect to the pedestrian walkway. Under the project name, Farnam Health Center, the new building will be dermatology focused health facility. – Isaiah Ang
