The City of Omaha plans to allocate its final $2 million of American Rescue Plan Act money to seven Business Improvement Districts: Benson, Blackstone, Downtown, Dundee, North 24th Street, North Saddle Creek and South Omaha. If approved by the city council next week, the BIDs would use their allotted share of the money to make security and safety improvements such as new lighting, crosswalk bollards and concrete repairs. – Grow Omaha staff
