Three million people have visited the renovated Riverfront parks since the Gene Leahy Mall reopened a little over two years ago, according to Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority. Heartland of America Park and Lewis & Clark Landing both reopened about a year ago. The three parks went through a $3 million renovation. Approximately 45,000 people visited the parks over the 4th of July weekend alone.
