Omaha ranked seventh in the “North America’s Next 25 Markets” list featured in CBRE’s Scoring Tech Talent 2024 report, according to Silicon Prairie News. The rankings of “lesser known and underdeveloped” markets were based on recent trends in tech workforce employment, tech field graduates and average wages for tech jobs. Here’s the top five: 1. Huntsville, Ala.; 2. Colorado Springs; 3. Dayton, Ohio; 4. London, Ontario; 5. Halifax, Nova Scotia.
