Creighton Baseball Invites Fans for Sendoff Tomorrow

Creighton baseball defeated UConn 7-4 in the Big East Baseball Championship Saturday for its second title in program history. The Bluejays led the championship bout wire-to-wire to earn their sixth regional bid under coach Ed Servais and first since 2019.

The Bluejays now head to the Fayetteville regional hosted by No. 3 overall seed Arkansas. Creighton, the No. 3 seed in the regional, will face No. 2 seed Kansas on Friday, May 30 at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.

Creighton Athletics is inviting fans to the team’s sendoff tomorrow, Wednesday May 28 at 11:45 a.m. outside the Kitty Gaughan Pavilion. Fans are encouraged to line up on the sidewalk to the west of the pavilion to send the Big East Champion Bluejays off to Fayetteville. The team is expected to head to the buses at 12 noon.
